Working Capital Management

As part of its continuing efforts to create the necessary platform for its members and other professionals to update their knowledge of Working Capital Management, the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) is organising a two-day workshop on Working Capital Management.

At the end of the two-day workshop, participants are expected to have gained a better knowledge of the following:

  •  The fundamentals of cash flow effective management.
  • Practical experience of how to manage cash flow and optimise working capital to facilitate such delivery in real life business situations.
  • Understanding the major drivers of successful financial performance.

Coverage:

The workshop would cover the following:

  • Optimising Working Capital
  •  Managing Accounts Receivable
  •  Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and the implications of stretching AP
  • Managing Inventory
  • Cash Budgeting, Cash Flow Monitoring, Collections and Disbursements Best Practices
  • Strategic Management of Cash & Working Capital
  • Planning, Forecasting and Monitoring Cash and Working Capital
  • Financial Modelling Tools and Techniques for Working Capital Management
  • Case-Study

Fee: GH¢350 per Participant

Date: 22nd & 23rd February, 2012 (2 days)

Venue: Miklin Hotel, East Legon - Accra

Time: 9.00 am each day

Workshop Fee includes: Training Materials, Coffee Break, Buffet Lunch and Certificate.

Target Group: Operating managers in manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, stores, logistics, sales and marketing, including finance managers who are responsible for managing and/or monitoring at least some part of the operating cycle will benefit from this workshop.
