Dear Member,
Council at its meeting on the 5th of October 2010 considered the rising cost of running the Institute, the need to mobilize funds to engage more technical personnel and also complete its project, has accordingly increased both the Annual Subscription and Practice License fees.
The new rates are as follows:
GH¢
Annual Subscription - 350.00
and Practice License Fee - 350.00
Members are hereby reminded that in accordance with Section 5 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1963 (Act 170),
“all annual subscriptions payable under this section shall be
due and payable on the first day of January in each year”.
These subscriptions, namely:
Annual Subscription and Practice License Fee become due and payable on 1st of January 2011.
In addition, you are reminded about the Resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting {AGM} held on the 29th of May 2009, at Akroma Plaza, Takoradi, that every member pays GH¢300.00 towards the building of the Institute’s Accountancy Village, East Legon, Accra.
As a means of confirming your details with the Secretariat, we shall be most grateful if you could furnish the Secretariat with details of your employment and personal data, particularly your e-mail address.
