MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE FROM ICAG

LATE PRESIDENT J.E.A. MILLS

We are filled with deep sorrow and grief at the news of the sudden passing away of President John Evans Atta Mills on Tuesday, 24th July 2012, at the 37th Military Hospital, Accra.

During his lifetime as President of the Republic of Ghana, President J.E.A. Mills epitomized diligence, astuteness, humility and a sense of duty and responsibility. He was very mindful of the well-being of the Ghanaian populace and the state of the economy.

President Mills at one time served as an examiner of ICAG and it is on record that he executed that task with firmness and alacrity.

His death has created a huge vacuum which only time can heal and fill.

Our hearts go out to his dear wife, former First Lady, Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, his son, Fiifi Atta Mills and the entire family. We pray for God’s comfort during this period of grief.

We would like to congratulate the newly sworn-in President, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama on his elevation to the high office of President of the Republic of Ghana.

It is our fervent hope and prayer that His Excellency and the people of Ghana will be consoled as we mourn our departed President.

May the soul of our dear departed President J.E.A. Mills rest in perfect peace.

MRS. ANGELA PEASAH
